Given that Mushclient is still under development, wont you check in the latest version and upgrade it to Visual studio 2022 C++? Preferable the free version, but I don't know the differences between free and paid version. The code that was last checked in was visual studio 2005 C++, kind of old to work with.

Then it is easier for others to contribute.

If I load it in Visual studio 2022 it is automatically converted. I need to add the 4 libraries still you left out though. Not sure if it compiles after that.

Does 2022 still offer the ability to target Windows XP? Perhaps it's an anachronism these days, but I still value that ability for some reason.
