| Hello, New to posting.
Having set a new test area to room vnum 80000 81000 in the map editor, i can get it loading in the mud itself.
I created room 80001 and 80002 in the editor.
It shows up in areas.
It is not set as prototype.
It does not show up in zones.
I can go to 80001 and 80002
If i go to 80003 it creates a room but assigns it to vnum 14468.
when doing checkvnum it doesn't seem to register above 34k
Is there a specific vnum range that smaug 1.4 is stuck to?
Can you create areas in the 100k range and higher?
why does my area not show up in zones if its in areas and not a prototype.
Thank you! | Top |

| This probably should have gone into the SMAUG-specific section of the forum.
Observationally, you appear to be limited to 32767 vnums, which is the maximum value of a 16 bit signed integer.
80002 modulo 32767 is 14468. |
