| | You just need to use the vnum of the room in a different area. The simple way is just to type the vnum into the appropriate box in the exit item.
To make things easier, you can load the other area (open it with the Area Editor), or open all areas (use Ctrl+L to open your Area List file). Once you have done that you can use the drop-down box to choose an area from the list, and then all rooms in that area will be displayed. Simply pick one. See image:
