Sure, that is easy.

Make a trigger:

Match: * attacks you with weapon
Send: %1
Send to: variable:
Variable: target

No, that was a "fill in the boxes" example. The copy-and-paste one looks like this:


<triggers>
  <trigger
   enabled="y"
   match="* attacks you with weapon"
   send_to="9"
   sequence="100"
   variable="target"
  >
  <send>%1</send>
  </trigger>
</triggers>


However that needs to exactly match. For instance if it is "Bob the Terrible attacks you with weapon" or "Bob the Terrible attacks you with a sword" then you need to change the trigger match a little bit.

For instance, the "match" part might be better as:

match="* attacks you with *"

The XML code above should have checked the "enable" box which should be all you need. Press the "help" button to find out what the other ones do.
