I am a bit surprised that Chinese text works at all. Can you paste a copy of the trigger (click the Copy button in the trigger list), and also some example text that the trigger should be matching on.

Are you using the Unicode (UTF-8) checkbox?

here are two sample triggers:
========================
<triggers>
<trigger
enabled="y"
match="ÖÐÑë¹ã³¡ - "
sequence="100"
>
<send>say hi</send>
</trigger>
</triggers>
<triggers>
<trigger
enabled="y"
match=" ¡¸³àÁ·ÏÉ×Ó¡¹ÀîĪ³î(Li mochou)"
sequence="100"
>
<send>alias qq give du jing to li mochou</send>
</trigger>
</triggers>
========================

I tried to use the Unicode (UTF-8) checkbox, but the triggers still didn't work.
And after using the Unicode (UTF-8) checkbox, the chinese characters in output window can not be read even i set chinese fonts nor westen fonts.
My OS is Win2K & Win98se chinese version.
Here are some samples:

I have discovered a couple of bugs in the routine which converts straight text to regular expressions. This particularly affected text with the high-order bit set, which was almost completely what you had.

Version 3.50 should work for you (not released quite yet).
