| Sometimes I have a trigger fire and the reply from the MUD ends up on my prompt line. Is there a way to stop this? Do I want to stop this? | Top |

| Reply from the mud? Which trigger? Sounds like youve got the "send to" box being sent to command.
Paste the trigger here (highlight it, click copy) and we'll be able to help you more. Really cant pinpoint anything with that little information. |

This is exactly how it looks.
This is what happens anytime that I have a trigger fire and there is some sort of a response from he MUD. Do you need more information? All the commands are usually sent to 'World' unless it's a script.

| Oh, THAT problem. No, thats the servers doing. Nothing you can do about it clientside.
It has to do with the fact that prompts are not terminated with a newline.
Some muds allow people to insert a linefeed in their prompt, that (putting one at the end of your prompt, if you have a customizable prompt) will sort of solve your problem. Although you might end up with a space on the line below it, which will cause the same problems with any trigger. Although some servers further allow you to get rid of that space.
Point being, there is no clientside solution, and there wont be on any client, unless of course its specially designed to do that, but even that would be a very poor hackjob.
So no, We neednt see your triggers or anything. |
