Err, not really. :-)

Visual Basic might come close in that it does a lot for you, but you still have to do the bulk of the work.

Well, don't get any illusions about what it will do for you. It will help, but it certainly won't write your program for you. You'll still have to write all the logic of your application. It helps with the trivial stuff like interfacing. When compared to e.g. C++, VB makes things a lot simpler for the stuff that should be simple.

VB can't handle SMAUG. VB is a language. SMAUG is written in C - you need a C compiler such as gcc or Visual C++.

Not to be discouraging or anything, but you should check out:

SMAUG isnt in VB, its in C and maybe some C++ depending on the version and customized updates and such. Any C/C++ compiler (MS, Borland, Cygwin, g/g++ compiler on *nix) can handle compiling the code. Any flat text editor can edit the code without having to deal with the overhead of a compiler if you're tight on resources or ftping to a host server. For the ftp scenario I'd recommend using either metapad (www.liquidninja.com) or textpad (www.textpad.com) as neither will make any changes or additions to your code. Textpad is decidedly the stronger program and there are many many other options available for windows os.

zoids = massive machines that look like animals, and ya can battle them, upgrade them, train them,,,, do a search on yahoo or google and ya will see what zoids is,

and as for a mud for it, its like a dbz mud that stays with the story of dbz and alike a zoids mud would stay along the lines of zoids the anime show
