| I have been having trouble on both my computers getting the colour output to work. Now however, no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall, I can't get my say's, to output.
How do I fix that? (here's an example):

And for the colour problem:

At one point when I reinstalled it, colour did show, and then I uninstalled it again and reinstalled it again, and then there was no colour at all.
What do I need to do to get the 'chat' stuff to work, and to get the colour stuff to appear for me? | Top |

| It is hard to know why, but some configuration issue seems responsible.
In the chats window, are your says appearing?
Have you added any triggers of your own? Can you disable all triggers and see if that makes a difference? |

| Looks like you have color turned off in the game itself. Simply type 'color' or 'ansi' to toggle.
The 'colorset colors' output could have been more helpful here. Just changed the code so that if you use it with color off, you will see:
"You have color display turned off. Please type 'color' then try again."
That will be live whenever the MUD next reboots.
I didn't make it display colors anyway because you'd still be left wondering why your colors weren't displaying anywhere else.

| Ohh!! Yes! Typing Ansi to turn the colors really did help! Thank you! (Both of you!) :). | Top |
