I appear to have issues with the @open command. When scripting: @open west;w=<DBREF>, it returns: opened exit <new dbref>. When looking in the room, the exit leads to nowhere. When trying to @link the exit, it still will not allow the alias <w> . @open works fine when not trying to alias.

Any suggestions?

Ebonsair, working on coding a new MUSH ;)

Check you don't have "command stacking" turned on in MUSHclient (or your other client). It may be breaking your open command up at the semicolon.
