One thing I liked about SimpleMU was the ability to cut and paste text into the Input Window and hit keys to translate a return to a %R character and spaces to %B characters.

Is there possibly a way to do that with scripts in MUSHClient? I'm pretty new, but I did manage to duplicate the /grab function from SimpleMU-- that was pretty easy, just a trigger and alias combination.

Ideas, Comments?

Yes, it would be possible to script your project.

Go the the MUSHclient main page, click "List all functions" link, then list them all in alphabetical order. Check out GetCommand, SetCommand. The MUSHclient functions you need are listed there.

Constantly proving I don't know what I am doing...

Plus, if you want to do it one a once-off basis quickly, there is a "global change" feature which lets you quickly change (say) newlines to %R (in the command window).
