| Just for interest, I successfully compiled and ran SMAUG (with MXP) on an iMac using OS X without having to make any changes from the standard source. The only change was changing the word 'gcc' to 'cc' in the makefile.
The new Mac operating system, OS X, is actually based on BSD Unix, and thus it is not totally surprising it works, however it is quite fun to see it in action. Here is a screen dump to prove it ...
