| I am about to return to the fray after the January holidays. :)
There are a few other pressing things to do, but some time in February is the likely release date for the next version. |

| You get holidays?!! heh :)
Thanks Nick, sounds good.
..so as to the other part of my question, any possibility or thoughts about aliases being able to send to variables the same way triggers do now (vers 3.26)? Also any thoughts on the other suggestion re 2 triggers sending to the same variable (separate field for var name rather than using label as var name)? | Top |

| Should be easy enough to extend aliases and triggers in that way. |

You said you're still running on V3.26.. You know there's a 3.32 right? | Top |

| hehe yup I know :) I'm just waiting for the vers that includes these suggested changes because I want to rewrite a lot of my scripts and triggers when I do the change over, so it seems pointless doing it now and then having to rewrite much of it again when (if) the changes above are released. I'll also be converting to trigger/alias groups and so on, so i'd prefer to do it all at once. | Top |

| NICK:
hi :) Are you able to tell me for sure one way or the other if vers3.33 will include the suggestions I put earlier in this thread? (aliases being able to send to variables the same way triggers do currently, and also triggers & aliases being able to send to the same variable by having a separate field for the variable name rather than using label as var name since 2 triggers/aiases cannot share the same label)?
If not I'll just d/l 3.32 now and start rewriting my script as planned, rather than waiting for v3.33
Appreciate your help :) | Top |

| I don't see a big problem with putting them in the next release, it will just take some rejigging of the user interface. |

| awesome thanks Nick :) *rawk* ..can probably squish it in next to the label or maybe under the 'send to' box would make more sense. Either way, thanks hugely :) | Top |
