When a message that comes through the chat system wraps at the edge of the window, the rest of the text that follows underneath is in a different color, blue on my system. The same color as the 'Connected on Monday' information texts and stuff.

This seems to happen on all chat messages, regardless of what the original color was and if it's going out or in. It also happens with 'ignore incoming colors' selected.

Just me having this problem? Other text that wraps seems to have no problem, it's just stuff from Chat.

It's fixed in 3.42? Well that's the version I'm using and seeing it in.

I didn't realise it was a known bug though, so sorry for reporting it.

Well, it isn't a known bug any more because the previous bug was supposed to be fixed. I'll have to take a closer look.

Do you have "indent paragraphs" checked or not?
Does the problem occur reliably? If so, can you post a sample piece of text that will cause it? Please also state what line width you have the output window set to (eg. 80 columns).

Hello,

Yes, indent paragraphs is checked.

I think I've found what's causing it. In Output options, I have 'auto wrap to window size' ticked and 'wrap output at column number' is *not* ticked. 100% of the time the chat messages that wrap will have their lines that wrap become blue.

If I tick the 'wrap output at column number' then when the text wraps it stays the same color.

Hope that helps some. I think it's the auto wrap to window size option that's buggy, as I've noticed it also doesn't indent the paragraph even though the indent option is ticked, and only wraps at the column number specified rather than at the window width, even if 'wrap output at column number' is *not* ticked.

You have found a bug that will be fixed in 3.43.

However, I would check 'wrap output at column number' - it has a different meaning to what you think, I think.

With that checked, the output wraps at the specified column, at the previous word boundary (in fact, at the most recent space).

With it unchecked it still wraps at the specified column (eg. column 80) however it wraps at that exact column, probably chopping words in two.

The problem is not related to 'auto wrap to window size' - all that does is recalculate the wrap column when you resize the window. eg. if you check it and drag the window wider, it might change from 80 to 100. However it still wraps at that column, regardless of the 'wrap output at column number' option.
