okay I had a player die and got this bug it went of like for times in a row
Bug: Write_corpse: Cannot open file.
../corpses/dampire: No such file or directory.

I was never told i had to have this directory or file made or where to put it HELP

These are the directories you should have. Note that "corpses" is at the same level as "player"...


area boards clans corpses deity doc log player src
backup building classes councils deleted gods new races system

okay I made a corpses directory. Now will it need to have the A-Z subdirectories that player and back-up has?? Also the version I downloaded doesn't have a src directory. My server was located in the main smuag directory. This won't present any problems in the futre now will it?

The source is in a separate download because it is so big.

Judging by the source you don't need the extra directories. They have those for the main players because they expect hundreds of players, but they don't expect hundreds of corpses at one time.

The executable is normally in the main SMAUG directory if you get my precompiled version, the Cygwin compile puts the executable in the src directory.
