In version 3.44 I found the following problem when editing triggers:

When the trigger field (expanded by the '...'-button) is filled up it will not scroll if you move the cursor beyond the last line - the cursor just disappears below the bottom of the input field.

This makes editing long triggers nearly impossible :(

Yes, I see what you mean. You must be the first person to edit such a large one. :)

However that is fixed in version 3.45, there is now a scroll bar, and you can edit as much as you like.

Meanwhile, copy the trigger and paste it into somewhere else (eg. Notepad) to edit it.

Thanks for the quick reply and confirmation Nick!

However the copy and paste solution will not work:
Pasting a text which is longer than the trigger input field is not possible. As a workaround I'll edit the few 'monster triggers' directly in the world xml file.

One more thing: I would prefer a resizeable input window over one with a scrollbar :)

It seems to me you can copy and paste from the initial screen (the one with the tiny trigger match window) rather than the expanded screen.

However I have done what you asked, version 3.45 will not only have the scroll bars but the window is resizeable. The best of both worlds! :)
