| Just a request/suggestion regarding point 6: script routine RemoveBacktracks on the page
http://www.gammon.com.au/scripts/showrelnote.php?version=3.48&productid=0
Would it be possible to make this a toggle option (if you haven't coded it that way already)?
The reason I ask is that in one particular area on a mud I play, there are rooms where going north then south will not put you back in the room you started in. It's intentional and there's a pattern to figure it out with experience, but that's not relevant here, just thought that the RemoveBacktracks script could cause a few headaches if other muds have areas that have unusual areas with features like this.
Also regarding this website, if you click 'downloads' on the menu and then click 'mushclient'
http://www.gammon.com.au/downloads/dlmushclient.htm
it's still showing ver 3.45 as the most recent. I'm guessing that's not intentional..
cheers

| The 3.45 is still intentional. Thats the 'public' release.
He posts interm releases here, under the assumption that we'll figure out problems and take the fall, knowing that by using these forums were somewhat more knowledgable. Or at least, like to play it on TV.
And RemoveBacktracks is a script routine. It only does it when you invoke it, not automatically. Your speedwalks will be safe. |

| Quite right, and the remove backtracks is a configuration option for normal speedwalking. |
