Suggestion, as per subject. Been hanging for this for a couple of years - don't even know if it can be implemented, but if it can, I would LOVE to see text in notepad windows able to display multiple colors simultaneously in the same notepad window.
Cheers.

I got about 80% of the way through doing that and then got stuck on strange technical issues, like how you might easily have a trigger "send to coloured notepad" when the text in the "send to" box is straight text, not coloured text.

Also there were issues like, when does the coloured notepad window get closed? I think in my test if I closed the notepad window the main window also closed or something strange. It all got a bit hard. :(

eep. My thought was that there would be a default color as there is now, and sent text could contain HTML-like tags for colors other than the default, but I wouldn't know if that was even feasible.

Strange (as you said) re closing windows.. just kind of figured everything else would work as it does at present - obviously a lot more complex than that.

http://wintin.org/ is open source - dunno if looking how they did it would help.
