| I'm running PennMUSH 1.7.3 under Windows. I have Windows XP Professional, and am having a few problems. When i #define NT_TCP, i get 'Error 10048 on Win32: bind' when i @shutdown/reboot. Currently, i'm compiled without this defined, but am having trouble with the ANSI colors. The only one that works is hilite, even when using something like 'think ansi(rh, test)', i'll only see test hilited. Id' love to help out, but I just don't know enough about C, and how this thing works. If you can help, or have any other questions, please ask. Thanks! | top |

| The NT_TCP was tested under NT 4, I can't say it would work under XP, and I don't plan to install XP in the near future, as it seems to want a lot of memory and have all sorts of reported licensing issues.
Running without NT_TCP should work fine, I was just trying to get more efficiency out of it. You could also try to compile it under Cygwin, that seems to be working pretty well these days.
As for the colours, that should be nothing to do with NT_TCP. What client are you using? |

| I'm using MUSHclient, but the colors don't show even in any other client. The only thing that workd is hilight and normal, but no actual colors. I just tried to use my same executable under windows 98, and same problem. I wonder what's causing this? | top |

| Colour definitely works, you probably haven't configured your character to see them. I forget the exact command, but it will be one of the flags you can set. |
