I realize v4.24 is the latest version release, however the MC download link on the site navigation
http://www.gammon.com.au/downloads/dlmushclient.htm
still has v4.19 as the available download. Is v4.19 the latest stable 'non-beta' release, or is just that the page is not updated as often?

cheers.

Nick usually lets the MUSHclient version on the primary download page lag behind a little, so new versions that have functionality based on input he receives in these forums can be tested out. Usually there's no new bugs that appear when implementing this, but sometimes there are and it helps that only those of the active forum community tend to run into those bugs, fixing them before the other 99% of users get a chance to find themselves stuck.

That, or at least the general idea behind it, is your answer. :)

It is true I let a new version bed down for a while before updating the "official" version. I think this is mentioned in the FAQ.

I have now amended the downloads page to mention version 4.24 as the official version, and also provided a link to download the new "large monitor" version, which saves having to muck around copying the en.dll file around.
