| Well, for people wondering how to increase VNUMs, I have
a useful guide I found, it is on my website at
www.angelfire.com/tn2/ZelseChar/vnums.txt...(it is rather large, I dont want people to wait forever to have this load) it lists what functions to change in 1.4 and where to change sh_int etc to have 2 billion vnums.
I have 4 questions, and I apologize for the volume of questions, I'm a newbie (obviously)
1stly, I compiled it on linux mandrake 8.0, it works fine (though I find the startup will work on mine with csh -f -x startup, as an alternative to the tcsh one presented), except createmorph, polymorph and all related commands dont work in the mud, I have my character set to level 65, of course.
2ndly, how does one "make" pets?
3rdly, I would like to know how one would make a spell
increase ones stats? For example, a spell for high level gods that would max their stats out.
4thly, a question from one of my co-builders (his netscape is broken, I'm sending him a new version as I type):
How would one automatically learn a spell? IE A wizard wants knowledge of a spell he just coded.
Thankyou very much.... | Top |

| There was a recent post about morphs, I would search for that on the forum using the search feature.
As for learning spells, look at the FAQ page Common wizard commands.
To make a new spell, look at skills.dat file. |

| To Increase your max VNUMS I would use the following
it lets you define Max_VnuMS
so that you can make max vnums later after you have added all the stuff in to whatever you want
