A patchwork quilt by Helen Gammon

"In Praise of Warm Feet"

This was made in the year 2003.

In Praise of Warm Feet

(Width = 116 cm, height = 180 cm.)

Made in July 2003 for John Ingoldby.

I used the traditional broken dishes block for this quilt for my father. It is a scrap quilt (of course!) but I tried to keep the colours fairly muted at his request.

My father has always had a problem with cold feet in bed, hence the title!

Machine pieced. Machine quilted by Carra Mallee quilting.

This quilt was made by Helen Gammon.
