Also I was hoping that I might speak with Nick Gammon about the possibility of getting link exchanges with his website and mine my understanding is that this is a more reliable way to get a hold of him then emailing him, so if you get this Nick Please feel free to email me at Johnstor@gmail.com

Thanks

I'm not really into placing cross-links to other MUD sites. For one thing, if I did one MUD I really should have links to the many hundreds of MUDs that are operating. Indeed, that is what directory sites like The MUD Connector do best. MUDs come and go, and their details change. To keep things up-to-date you really need a dedicated site.

Also, players looking for a certain type of MUD are more likely to go to TMC than to look around here.

Finally, experience has shown that links placed, even with the best of intentions on both sides, can eventually expire, and then it turns out that my site links to advertising or something else completely inappropriate to this site.

You are welcome to post announcements (probably the forum section "Announcements" below is the best place):

I notice that some of the announcements there have had quite a few views, so this probably isn't a bad place to advertise.

You are also welcome to mention your MUD in your forum signature, as some other posters do. However posts here should be relevant, not just done to have your signature appear frequently.
