im looking for help in making the scan plugin that comes standard with MUSH into a popout miniwindow version.

This request is extremely MUD specific. There's no way to do it right without knowing exactly what the scan output for a particular game looks like.

so what your saying is that the mini window needs to basically be set up to gag the specific output and display them elsewhere, not that the mini window itself will be a stand out scan plugin? im very new to all this sorry lol.

this is an example of what a scan produces in my mud.

Looking around you see:

** Here **
a meek tourist

** North: a stone's throw **
an intimidating guard

** East: a stone's throw **
a nervous guard

** South: a stone's throw **
a screaming child

There are example chat miniwindow plugins on this site, some written by Fiendish. The basic idea is to match certain text, copy it to a miniwindow, and gag the original. Try searching for that.
