As far as I know, the underlying technology for a muck is the same as for any mud or mush, so mushclient should support it just fine. Typically you don't need any plugins in order to connect to a world. Plugins will just enhance your experience. In your case, the plugins you've named suggest that you're using a screen reader. Have you used a screen reader with mushclient before?

Your mushreader plugin is what helps mushclient work with jaws. You're right that the mush z package is specifically written for alter aeon, but you can keep using mushreader even without the rest of mush z.

Instructions from the mushreader website say:

Quote:

MushReader is a plugin and a dll file that will automaticly use any screen reader it supports - currently JAWS, Window-Eyes, NVDA and System Access.
Download mushreader here https://www.allinaccess.com/mc/mushReader.zip
Once downloaded, put the plugin (xml file) in mushclient\worlds\plugins, and the dll files in the main mushclient directory. Load the plugin into your world, and it should talk.

It sounds like you're not properly extracting the zip archive first. First unzip mushReader.zip then move files.

Is there someone who can help you locally with this? Like a neighbor or local tech support friend? I'm not sure how we'll be able to progress without actually watching you try to install and run it.
