| I recently got back into mudding and it's been almost 2 decades so I'm Rusty and I couldn't find a answer to this issue through searching the forums
I made 2 simple but lengthy alias's for switching between solo gear and group gear
Each alias is simple commands such as remove all ; put all backpack ; get all blood ... And so on no wildcards used about 10-12 commands in order to fully switch between sets
The issue is that on each of them and only these longer alias's after activating the alias the last command in the string goes off 7-12 times even though it was only sent once | | Top |

| We can't help you unless you show us your aliases.

| | Thanks. Can you also show the output from your mud that shows the multifiring behavior? I notice that both of your new aliases end in "hold beac". I'm wondering if you don't maybe have a trigger firing on one of the messages coming back in response to that. |

| I can dig back threw the logs but it will be a giant post but when it ends with hold beac after my char holds his beacon
then next atleast 5 prompts say
<H:823/823 M:730/1782 Mv:324/324 39778040 >You do not have that item.
again and again until it boggs down and goes off another time every time I put in a command it will go off again for several more times
if I put a different command after it like look or inv or eq or score or everything I can think off even if its a non fuctional command that just gets a huh? prompt from the game it repeats the same I have tried it several different ways it always spams the last command in the string a seemingly random amount of times | | Top |

Why would it be giant? Just show the output starting from a few lines before you invoke your alias until a few lines after a couple of last command repetitions. I can't imagine that it would be more than a few tens of lines. |

| | Please also activate tracing (Game menu, Trace) so that we can see if you have any triggers firing. |

The Adventurer's Guild is a stepping stone from which many famous and
powerful characters of the realm had started with. Around you many new
heroes-to-be are just starting their path to fame and glory. This Guild
provides training and equipment to those new to the lands, complete with a
mud school. To the west incessant chanting tells you that the temple is in
that direction. A staircase is here leading upwards, where the facilities
for training are.
Obvious exits:
North - Portal Convergance
East - Camador Square
West - The Temple Of Menyar
Up - Inside The Adventurer's Guild
Down - Stylaas's General Store
A glowing portal is here, leading to the lands of Bycross.

| | Maybe it's a server issue. Instead of using semicolons try putting actual newlines after each command. |
