I am not sure this is the right place to ask this, but I need to ask some where. No need to ask about the best MUD client as this is it. ^^! I want to find a good Interactive Fiction client/interpreter. I want it for a Windows 10 PC. I have tried both the Interactive Fiction Archive and Brass Lantern, but BL just generally refers me back to IFA. And IFA is very confusing to me. I've tried some links and some go to no where or seem corrupt. Others the download seems like it takes a while so I stop. I've tried things like Glulx, but that is no less confusing than IFA itself. I know this is for MUD discussions, but MUDs, to me anyway, are basically online IFs. Can anyone help me please? Thank you.

I think you know that it isn't.

You could try https://gamedev.stackexchange.com/.

However they might give you short shrift because requests for product recommendations are not really the sort of questions they tackle.

Conceivably you could ask at https://stackoverflow.com/ but even then your question might be too broad.

As for this site, I don’t think we have ever covered interactive fiction client/interpreters.
