I'm Immed on SMAUG muds before, coding, building, I even ran my own one once....Thing is I prefer the RoT Codebase to SMAUG, even though I know there are alot of differences, but I want to start my own RoT based MUD. I know a bit of building and pretty much no coding on RoT Codebase, but I have immed, and I have built a few small areas on RoT muds.
If someone coudl give me good instructions on how to start a RoT mud, as in help with compiling it, running it, etc.. it would be greatly appreciated

The comments in How to make changes, including compiling, although written for SMAUG, should help.

Okay if you would need help with starting up a RoT based
mud I could help you out, although I do not have the time
to actually help you code it I can help you get it started
and take out the normal RoT errors in the compile and setup
a startup script along with telling you how to boot the mud
up if you are not familiar with how to do so.
