| Turn auto-reconnect off.
Download the "Reconnecter" plugin from this page:
http://www.gammon.com.au/mushclient/plugins/
(RH click and "save file as" - see instructions on that page).
Then edit the plugin with any text editor and near the start you will see this:

<!ENTITY noconnect_command "NOCONNECT" >

Change the "10" on line 3 to "30".
Save your changes.
Install the plugin with the File menu in MUSHclient.
That should do it.
