I have spent a number of hours on this issue. Keep in mind, I know almost nothing about how to properly run this, I have had a hardcoder to take care of the server in the past and am now trying to run this game off my PC.
I have Windows XP home.
I can connect to the game/server. However, none of the help files will pull up. Even typing 'help' is no good. I have even gone so far as to pull up and successfully run a blank/new PennMush and attempted to view the help files when connected to it in game. It did not work.
Also, noted, is when I run PennMush, is does state:
Error: Cannot open configuration file mush.cnf
I'd greatly appreciate any help on this.
Sincerely,

| I haven't run PennMUSH for a while, but it sounds like you have a directory issue. Try opening a command prompt and navigating to the correct directory before starting the game. Read the readme files to see what that is exactly. |
