Some colors that are available for background colors in the background and the input window make it difficult to see the cursor.

I don't have a problem with trial and error, but as a suggestion, a * or something for recommended colors?

There are quite a few combinations you could have, it would be difficult to say which ones would work with which. It would depend a bit on your monitor, light conditions, etc.
