| Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if MUSHclient will work with XP and JAWS 4.0 and how well it works with them.

| I can say from personal experience that MUSHClient and Windows XP works perfectly, no bugs so far :)
Don't know what JAWS is so I can't answer that. | Top |

| Dragoness: Dunno about XP...But I'm not sure any sort of screen reader would do very well with a MU* environment. Tis all text, but I think it would come out slightly...badly in most cases. | Top |

| JAWS 4.5 is the current version my husband uses and currently he is using Zmud v 4.62 with the help of some scripts that were specially made using the JAWS script manager, unfortunately they were not made by either of us. Jaws is a text to speech screen reader. What ever the cursor runs over it reads. Or you can read a whole page at once. I am not sure but I don't think it uses a com.

| Ok, well I had a look at the script hubbie was using for Zmud and it mostly works with Mushclient but when something new comes up on the screen it repeats the line before and not the new line. *grumble* If anyone wants to look at the files let me know, email me at dragon_blue_fire@hotmail.com

| I would have thought that a trigger that matches on * (everything) and then sent the resulting text to the reader would do the trick. Or if this doesn't work directly, make the trigger "send to notepad" to put the line into a notepad window on its own, and then get the screen reader to read the notepad window. |
