| Hi,
My internet seems to malfunctioning and the store's closed so I can't order a new one right now. For some reason I can't access any other servers through either Firefox, Opera, MUSHClient, MudMage, Telnet and whatever else I've tried.
I'm able to browse through this website quite fine and I actually downloaded the Smaug exe to test whether I'm really connected or not. This thread will be further proof to me.
I'm sorry if this really doesn't belong here, though I expect few will see it because it's not really a high-traffic spot.
If any DOES see this and can suggest reasons why I'm only able to view this website and not the rest of the internet I would be very, very grateful.
Thanks. | Top |

| Well since you posted, that rules out cache...
You do seem to be connected. Are you using any firewalls (software or router)? |

| The only firewall I'm using is the windows xp firewall which I disabled to test but found nothing changed.
I'm thinking along the lines of hax. | Top |

| What error message do you get? Sounds to me like your DNS is not working - and your PC has cached "www.gammon.com.au" but can't look up any new sites.
I would check that your DNS server is responding - possibly your ISP is having problems. |

| For example, try "mushclient.com" which is actually this same site. If it doesn't find it, then you definitely have a DNS problem. |

| Hm, http://www.mushclient.com/ doesn't work, so I guess that I'll have to contact my isp about it. Thanks a whole bunch! | Top |

| Can you get to http://72.14.207.99 at all? That'll show us if it is a DNS issue. |
