| 44. The entire client window went gray when I dragged the Info bar
This is a known bug in the way one of the internal libraries works.
To fix it, go to the View menu and select "Reset Toolbar Locations".
I have tried it already, but info bar button is still gray, somehow i cannot re-select it... | | Top |

| | That should have worked. Try uninstalling MUSHclient and re-installing. |

| If you are familiar with regedit, you can try deleting the MUSHclient key with all your settings from it. That would mainly be history of files opened and such, so it can't really hurt - your world, plugins and scripts are safe.
But if you're not, don't do it. If you delete the wrong thing you can seriously mess things up. :) | | Top |

| There was a problem a while back, that under certain circumstances, MUSHclient would not load the info bar details from the resource file. It used to crash when this happened, so I amended the code to press on without it, which accounts for the greyed out menu item.
I am not sure why it happens, however have a suspicion it is something to do with localization. Are you using a different region code than English (USA) or English (Australia)?
Perhaps try rebooting the PC, that may help. Otherwise, is there something you recently changed, since the time when the info bar did work? |

| I certainly would NOT reformat my hard drive just to fix a minor problem in one program.
What plugin are you using that requires it anyway?
And did you change anything recently, between when it worked and when it didn't? |

| | What I am getting at is, the info bar is normally blank, unless a script or plugin writes to it. So what is it, that you want to see in the info bar, that you can't right now? |
