ok i have a slight problem i made a new item and i set it up then took the prototype flag off then i droped it in the room i wanted it in then i did foldare scince i cant use savearea on the newacad but anyway after i do a reboot it is gone it does not save to the room that i put it in i am going to go pico the newacad.are file in the chell account but that might not work so if there are any ideas on why it wont save in the room then could someone let me know please

Did you set the reset for it to appear in the room? If not, it won't appear in the room.

well i tried everything so i finally went into the area file and edited it in that way but i really dont like doing that i would rather just make it make then drop it in the room and foldarea and it be there after a reboot

As Zeno pointed out you have to actually add in for it to reset in the room.
aassign <area filename>
<make an object/load an existing object>
<drop it in a room/give it to a mob etc...>
<instaroom/instazone> (This is the part that adds it to the resets)
<foldarea/savearea>
