Hi, I used to play MUXs at the start of last year, but stopped when I switched over to my parents internet plan. I was wondering, how much bandwidth does playing on an MUX use on average? I would LOVE to get back into it. Thanks in advance.
MUD bandwidth usage?

I don't know about your specific MUX (you didn't mention which one) however as a rule of thumb MUDs/MUSHes/MUXs use very little bandwidth. They were designed for the days when people had low-speed Internet connections. Being text-only, the bandwidth would be minimal compared to almost every web page today.
These days web pages have loads of images, scripting, embedded movies, links to advertising and so on.
You could probably play your MUX for an hour and use less bandwidth than visiting one web page. Particularly movie sites like YouTube or Vimeo, or even just a news site.
MUSHclient reports how much text it sends/receives (see the world configuration -> Info tab -> Input/Output).

Thanks, when I asked I was referring to generally, I am still fairly new and am looking for an MU that I enjoy the most. Thank you very much.
