Any idea how to compile using borland turbo c++ 4.5 for windows? I tried using the borland specific source that you had but encountered many errors. Not a big deal since I got the cygwin version to compile and run very well.

Not really, and I'm not that interested in trying. I already compiled it under Microsoft Visual C++, Cygwin, and OpenBSD, and don't really want to spend more time getting it to work with yet another compiler. The fact that it works with those 3 shows it *ought* to be possible. :)

Of course it is possible. I was just asking if anyone had done it. I didn't expect you to do it for me. Like I said in my post I have already got the cygwin compile online. I was looking to get away from the cygwin dll thats all. Not that it really matters... The only reason that I asked is that you seemed willing to help others with different compilers. I guess I was wrong. Sorry...
