Implementing scripts into programs?

A while ago when I was having problems with Python I packaged up my scripting routines into a separate project.

This can be downloaded from:

Despite its name you can use it to play with scripts in any language, see example below, where by changing the word "vbscript" to "python" (for instance) you call a different engine. Engine names I know of are:

vbscript
jscript
perlscript
python
tclscript

The code below, taken from the file scripttestDoc.cpp shows creating an instance of the script engine (which itself is implemented as a C++ class) and parsing a file. In this example the file has one immediate statement.

You can also parse scripts for later execution, using the Execute function, in conjunction with GetDispid (GetDispid gets a dispatch ID, which is used to execute a particular function in the script).
