I created my own ANSI's to be displayed when you log on but every time I say yes to the ANSI question the client locks...is it the size of the ANSI and ASCII's they are almost 100 lines each...I just renamed the ansi's and ascii's to mudtitle.* thanks.

The size shouldn't matter. Which client are you using? If you have an unterminated ANSI string it could make the client lock waiting for the end of the ANSI sequence. MUSHclient has recently had code added that stops that happening.
eg. An ANSI code looks like this:
ESC [ 31 m
Now if you had ESC [
but no 31 m then the client would just throw away everything until it got the 'm'.
Check your ANSI codes carefully, and try again with MUSHclient.
