How to show stored variables

Been reading through the docs and the forums, but unfortunately, I haven't seen any way of using stored variables like saying to a group or party what's the target, like, Target (variable) = Goblin (stored value of target variable), when I use an alias called gtar, it should say "You tell the group 'Our target is Goblin'"

Your help would be much appreciated.

Something like, make an alias: gtell Our target is @target

And check "expand variables"
