If enabled, you can use the numeric keypad (usually on the right-hand side of the keyboard) to execute any commands you like.
The default is for direction commands, such as "8" for North, "2" for South, and so on, however you can configure the keys to be anything you like.
The text you specify is sent through the normal command processor, so the numeric keypad can be an alias, which might send a script, for example.
You can also specify actions if you hold down the Control key (eg. Ctrl+2).
