Hey there. I just installed the new version of the Mushclient after a very long time. But now the spell check isn't working properly. I have to add words to the spell check I shouldn't have to. Like 'to get sand' and many others. I have tried to add them, but it doesn't add them at all. I have tried to close out the client and restart it. Turn off spell check and restart it. Not having any luck.

It seems to work for me with those words. Which version of MUSHclient? Which operating system?
Do you get an error message when the spell checker starts up?
Try closing MUSHclient, and then in the "spell" subdirectory (under where MUSHclient.exe is) delete the file spell.sqlite. Then it should be re-created next time. When this happens note if there is an error message. Perhaps the directory is not writable.

Mushclient 4.72
Windows Starter 7
I closed it back down, started it back up, checked the spell check again. There were no errors when it started pulling in the spell check database. It still will not let me add words either. I add them in, but when I am back in the program nothing is remembered. Deleted the file recommended and I keep trying to change the "Read only" properties for the folder but Windows likes to be a problem child.
Kind of at a loss where to go.

Ah, Windows ...
Try this:

I would install MUSHclient to somewhere else as described there, and make sure the folder is writable.
