Not sure if this belongs here but since I am using it under Wine, it seemed appropriate.
Memory usage keeps rising until eventually, it becomes unusable to where I have to restart the client. I usually have more plugins loaded then what is listed in the summary below and the memory usage does tend to rise a little quicker, yesterday I removed most except the aardwolf client ones and a few others. Playing the mud increases the usage mostly, however even idling it keeps increasing.
The notes I kept from last night to today are reasonable, if it would stay in those ranges but before removing the other plugins, within 32hrs of running the memory usage was up to 1.7Gb and sluggish. If I leave this running as is for the next several days, there's no doubt that I would eventually see around 1Gb.
If this is contributed to the plugins I am running, how can I determine which plugin or plugins is increasing in memory usage? Is there anything else that can be done to release the memory without restarting the client? Is there additional tweaks for wine?
Running Linux Mint 19.3
nerf ~ $ wine --version
wine-5.0.3
Here's a few times I checked to see what usage had gone up to.
1/5/21 - (Started)
Time % CPU Memory Disk (R) Disk (W)
6:19PM 3 87.8Mb N/A 1.2Mb
~ hour of pups/levels ~
8:57PM 4 125.9Mb 112KB 4.1Mb
~ idle ~
1/6/21
Time % CPU Memory Disk (R) Disk (W)
7:41AM 4 155Mb 164KB 11.3Mb
~ idle ~
7:07PM 4 170.5Mb 176KB 30Mb
6000 character limit in todays time is a little ridiculous. So since my summary itself is over 6k characters, you can find it here: https://pastebin.com/EUBMrDRG
Any help to resolving this issue without having to check memory usage and restarting the client when it gets too high or nearly unusable would be appreciated.
