I was looking around the net for snippets and a few bits of code caught my eye. Before I go on let me first say I am very, new to the whole programing thing, so I am not yet skilled enough to change code. But 2 of the snippets I liked brawl and bounty. These 2 bit of code have been written for ROM and I have no clue how to re-write them for SMAUG anyone able to point me in the direction of either how to fix them or where I can find a SMAUG version?

Hmm. Without providing links to these snippets or even saying anything about them besides what they're called, you might as well be talking to your keyboard, in greek, with cotton in your mouth ;-)
Although in the end it's all C code and an experienced coder could convert a ROM snippet to SMAUG easy enough. I don't think there's many people who are going to sit down and re-write a snippet for someone, because they can't do it themselves.
As for additional "versions", I don't think you're going to find anyother version of the snippet other then the one you're looking at. Not unless it was released by the creator of said snippet.
I hope I don't sound to harsh. But I think you're up a creek on this one... Who knows though, post the links to the snippets anyway and maybe someone will want to use them for their own mud, take the time to convert them to SMAUG, then share the result with you. Then again, maybe not.

I found the code at several sites but one of them is
http://darkoth.kyndig.com/a-f.html
But I guess I have no choice but to crack down and learn all the code. I don't mind I was just looking in case someone else had any thing already made.
