Aassign problems....

I'm back, but its with new problems :(
When ever i do aassign to a character, when they quite they loose the ability to edit that area. I've tried everything that i could think of, save, savearea, okay so thats not much...Another is when creating new areas, is there a way to change the filename and if not, is there a way to change in the mud? Umm...going brain dead right now..

I'm not an expert on aassign, but I can't see where the area name is saved with the player.

I suppose you could change the filename by renaming it on disk afterwards.

Okay, i sorted that all out. But now when i try to change the area name it doesn't save...or should i say is back to normal after reboot.

This is what i type;
aset darknaj.are filename saxe.are
savearea

It changs but then comes back after reset, is it because i'm still editing it, and i should do when i install the area or what?

Could be, I'm not sure. If you have access to the PC I would make sure the file on disk is renamed, and that you don't have both the old name and the new name.
