Color Picker Selecting on Colors as well?

Should clicking on the colors (in the color picker) make a selection as well as the name of the color?

I know when playing around with the new sliders, I found myself clicking on the color swatches, and not the words.

I kept trying to double click the color swatches (double clicking accepts the 'changes') and then the color wouldn't change, but if it was close (like different shades of blue) I might not have noticed (and then have a bunch of highlights which weren't infact doing much).

Yeah. Every damn time I use it:

1. Click 'other'.
2. Scroll through them.
3. Click on color.
4. Briefly wonder why it didn't select it.
5. Suddenly remember only the names work.

And I use it *a lot*. Maybe I am just a more visual person, or something, than you Nick, but it doesn't make sense to me that you can't click the color itself.

Yes, but it has *always* been like that. You have only just noticed it. :)

The problem was in the fact that if I made the whole line be part of the selection, it looked really ugly (and uesless) like this:

So, it has only ever selected the name, not the colour.

However after a bit of research, and finding more quirks in Windows, I have done it a bit differently. In the next version you will be able to click on the swatch as well, and double-click to accept it.
