How do I make something sacrificable ?

I want to sacrifice a scroll but it won't let me...
I have a couple of triggers hooked up to the sacrifice of this scroll and I'm not sure if it's a flag, or I need a deity, or I need something else...

I think if the item doesn't have the "hold" wear flag on it, it can't be sacced.

I also noticed it comes up in blue on the mud, instead of the usual green for items...

That would mean you can drink it, I think.

It's still not working, When I hold it it says I can't find it, and when It's on the floor it's 'not an acceptable sacrifice'.....

how could I drink a scroll ?
one of my mobs comes up and then a copy of her comes up as being in a zombie like state and the copy is also blue...
