I have made quite a few plugins, and have uploaded them to a site called uploadhub.net, and here are the links to several things...

----
Aardwolf_MC_Plugins.exe (Installer)
http://www.uploadhub.net/download.php?file=4c7b2f3c89c120573b53b70c867b7c46

Will install all plugins into folder called Aard_Onoitsu2, located WHEREVER MUSHclient's plugins are located.
------
Aardwolf_MC_Plugins.zip
http://www.uploadhub.net/download.php?file=1edede4dba15f8361bdee7b17386fadc

This is the Zip'd version of All 18 plugins
------
MUSHclient Hide EditBox.exe
http://www.uploadhub.net/download.php?file=5a7a62ecd8a36c99291cfaa733e4491a

This will present a List of all OPEN worlds, and once you choose one from the list, it will hide EVERYTHING BUT the Output Buffer, and also allow movment of the selected window via dragging that Buffer. If the window is empty, you will see just a black box, but it WILL display whatever you send to it, using MY plugins, or anyone else's that separate or send things to other windows. I have just perfected the movment when MUSHclient window is either MAXIMIZED or NOT, and to return the window to its usual state, close the program via the tray icon, also you can run MULTIPLE copies of it, and chose separate windows to alter, and ANY altered windows will not show up in listings, so you CANNOT alter an altered window...
------

I do hope that anyone that enjoys the use of these will contact me at onoitsu2@yahoo.com, or one one of the following messengers...

YIM = Onoitsu2
AIM = Onoitsu2
MSN = Onoitsu@msn.com
ICQ = 81488683

or while connected to aardmud.org (Aardwolf MUD), I am player named Venificius.

Laterzzz,
Onoitsu2

I have 'SmartHideISP', so as a plugin for my Mozilla Firefox, I would like to be able to hide my ISP when I log onto games. I don't MUD I mush, however having roomates, we all share the wireless router, so if one guy, does something like piss off a DM on a game, we could all be banned, so therefore I would like to prevent that, and keep it so no ISP's are being shown or fake ones at least. I can be reached at killerws@yahoo.com

Because I tried to add this plug-in to Mushclient, and it was too big, or wouldn't work, so was wondering how do I add this type of plug-in, which is plugged-into to my Mozilla Firefox and Internet explorer browsers to Mushclient, sorry if I didn't clarify this correctly.

It doesn't look like a plugin, it seems like it's a proxy you direct your network connections to. According to their knowledgebase [1] you just click "Make me invisible". Can you give us more details, like in what way it isn't working, or what steps you're taking to use this with MUSHclient?

It's called "consequences". Maybe you should explain to your roommate why it is not in the group interest for him to behave this way.

I went to the plug-in aspect of Mushclient, and tried to add it as a plug-in, but said it wasn't an XML file. Though iSmarthideISP software says says I'm invisible, doesn't seem to work, when I log in on Mushclient sites. or the software doesn't seem to include that aspect, so just trying to combine it so I can hide my ISP period.

Because a plugin written for Firefox will not work in anything other than Firefox. And MUSHclient is not Firefox.

Okay wasn't aware of that, so is their a plug-in for mushclient that hides an ISP?

The only possible reason for wanting this is to circumvent a siteban. I agree with Nick on this one.

A siteban? because I have roommates, still i like keeping my ISP to myself. Until such time we have seperate stuff, we share, the nature of things, however does that mean you guys don't want to give me a plug-in designed to hide my ISP when I mush?

We are straying into dodgy territory here. Site bans based on an IP address can conceivably catch more people than are warranted. Just as an example, a school might use NAT to share the same IP address amongst 1000 students.

It hardly seems fair for 999 students to be banned from a website because a single one of them does something wrong.

So if you were in this situation we would be sympathetic. However it is possible that these roommates don't actually exist, and you are just asking for ways of getting around a site ban.

When writing this I am aware that a friend of mine has been operating a server which has been flooded with annoying spam messages (like, thousands of them) directing people to a "griefing" site. Now you can ban the login name, but then they make another one. The only effective thing is to ban the IP address. But now you are asking how to get around IP address bans.

Some people seem to find griefing a fun and amusing occupation. I am not one of them.

*I* certainly won't. I advise instead that you contact the administrator of the mush and try to work out a deal to lift your ban.

Okay I'm not banned from any Mush what so ever.. I do enjoy having privacy, and keeping my ISP to myself, despite having stupid roommates.. So I'm not trying to get around -ANY- siteban, however i don't like the fact my Isp is easily displayed.. I'm asking you guys how is it done thru Mushclient, thats all
Australia Forum Administrator #14
Well, I like privacy too. :)

Google "Tor" - it can be done through that, at no cost.
#15
Thank you, I will look that up and start reading on it. 'Tor'
#16
Okay downloaded the latest version, but like SmartHideISp, its a browser, so now sure how to put it in or have Mushclient go thru it? if that makes any sense, so would like you guys expertise or knowledge on how to do that? I went into a settings, and tried to add mushclient, as something to start when it starts, not sure if that will work.

Tor isn't a browser. It may work with your browser perhaps.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_%28anonymity_network%29

Once started you should have access to the Polipo proxy server which supports SOCKS 4 and SOCKS 5 which MUSHclient can connect to.

I can't remember how I did it exactly, but you need to point the SOCKS interface to your own PC (ie. localhost) with the port number being the Polipo proxy port (whatever that is, read the documentation).

Lost me on that one, have been reading the documentation, but still haven't been able to make it all work
