Hello

Question please. When working with Area Editor, what
is the fastest way to set in the mob limits ? For example:
if you have a dozen mobs of the same vnum, what is
the fastest or easiest way of setting in the reset limit
to 12 or whatever? I have been switching to using Orb
to do these resets, because i couldnt quite figure out
how to do them effectively and easily in Area Editor.
I would like to learn how to use Area Editor exclusively
since I registered it, and would sure appreciate some
help on how to make these resets easier and faster.

Thank you in advance

If I understand the question correctly, I would do this ...

  1. Go to the room where you want the mob put
  2. Click on "Add mob"
  3. Choose the appropriate one and click OK
  4. The mob will now appear in the "References" list
  5. Double-click on it in the "References" list, or highlight it and click on "Go to"
  6. Doing that takes you to the appropriate reset
  7. Change the limit (2nd box) to the number you want

That might sound long-winded when looked at here, but it only takes a couple of seconds.
