Clicking and typing/enter key no longer focuses the text box

I was just wondering if theres anything wrong with my client or options that I can no longer click the world window coming from another program and have focus on the command prompt. I updated my client today and thats when I noticed I couldn't just click over into the black and be able to start typing or hit enter and start typing.

Is this relevant?
