Years ago I wrote a program, which is available for Macintosh and Windows, called WeaveDraft, which is intended to help weavers design patterns before threading up their loom. Although it was originally released as ShareWare, it is now freely available at no cost. Unfortunately, the "source" code has been lost, and it is no longer possible for me to improve or update the software. Accordingly, it is released "as is" at no charge. It will not run under OS/X, as it was written for early versions of the Macintosh. If you have "Mac Classic" available, you will probably be able run it using that.
It should also run OK under Windows, although there may be problems printing patterns. To work around that I suggest taking a screen shot of the screen when the pattern is completed.
